A Summer Treat for Children

Our fantastic Swim and Survive Camp runs each summer in the January school holidays each year. These camps are designed for children from the age of 5yrs -14yrs and are run over 4 days.  We use use Collaroy Rock Pool and beach as well as Warringah Aquatic Centre, so that our activities cover water safety skills for beach and pool. Our program is run by volunteers and experienced qualified AUSTSWIM teachers. Water Skills For Life are a Royal Life Saving partner and Swim & Survive Facilitators.

Children will learn important water safety skills to be able to help themselves, and others, when in trouble, in and around the water, survival swimming strokes and rescue skills, together with an understanding of CPR. We will have swimming tuition as part of the lesson where children will be able to improve their swimming skills.

Spaces are limited to 30 participants. At the completion of the camp, each child will receive a certificate for the level that they have achieved. Children are to arrive 15mins before we commence, ready for the lesson. We encourage you to ensure that your child has sun protection and also, if possible, a wetsuit or wetsuit top to keep them warm during the days we will be at the rock pool and beach.
