Volunteer as a Swim Teacher - What’s Involved?
Be part of our volunteer team and join us as a swim teacher. If you wish to be part of our ‘volunteer pool’ Water Skills for Life would ask that you commit to teaching for the entire swim season. However, we do know that people have busy lives and sometimes can’t always commit. We all work as a team and endeavor to have enough volunteers for each lesson.
As a volunteer swim teacher we can provide opportunities for you to gain extension swim teacher qualifications and professional development with AUSTSWIM or Royal Lifesaving NSW. As we support and partner with Swim Vietnam and Aquatic Training School in Vietnam, there maybe opportunities to visit their programs and also with HTK Cambodia in Siem Reap to assist them in their water safety and swimming initiatives. Water Skills for Life are always looking for volunteers as swim teachers who have their AUSTSWIM or equivalent qualification to assist in our swimming and water safety programs. If you already have your AUSTSWIM or Royal Lifesaving Swim Teacher License , simply register your interest by filling in the Online Form and we'll get right back to you.
